Olay Regenerist Revitalising Eye Serum Review

By Friday, April 17, 2015 , , ,

Hello Everyone,

Hope everyone is doing great. Today I am going to review another product from Olay and its Olay Regenerist Revitalising Eye Serum.

Product Description
Formula helps to:
 - Renew the youthful look of the eye area with moisturisation.
 - Reduce fine line and wrinkle appearance with moisturisation.
 - Exfoliate and smooth skin
Formula with Amino-peptide Complex helps renew skin’s surface around the eye area.

Price: Approx 15 USD

Packaging: It comes in white opaque squeeze tube with a silver screw on cap. I like the packaging it’s hygienic, compact and easy to carry around.

Performance: Eye serum is slightly yellowish in colour and has gel like consistency. It is fragrance free which is a good thing because sometimes eye products that are scented tend to irritate eyes. It’s quite light in texture and gets absorbed instantly and doesn't leave any oily or greasy residue behind. It has slight shimmer in it which gives a nice brightening effect to the eyes and makes the under eye area look nice and fresh.

I have been using this eye serum for almost a month and a half now both morning and night. I like it but I am not in love with it. My under eye area is dry and I have dark circles so what I am looking for is something that provides good moisturisation but is not too greasy and that deals with dark circles. I like how light weight, quick absorbing and brightening this eye serum is. It sits well under make up as well. But it is not moisturising enough for me and does nothing for dark circles. It doesn't specifically say it deals with dark circles but it said youthful look so I somehow assumed it did. But it claims to moisturise but it isn't enough for me.

I have read quite good reviews for this and people recommend this. That why I bought it and like I said earlier I like it because it fulfils all the other expectations I have from an eye cream expect the moisturisation part. I think it will work much better for people who don’t have very dry under eye area and for those who are just starting out with eye creams.

The Good:
  • Fragrance free
  • Light weight
  • Quick absorbing
  • Non – Greasy
  • Nice brightening effect
The Bad:

  • Not moisturising enough
If you are looking for something which is very moisturising and helps treat dark circles then look somewhere else. But if you want something that's light weight and absorbs quickly without that greasy feeling and brightens the eye area then this ones for you. Hope you find this review somewhat helpful.
