Essence The I love Stage Eyeshadow Base Review
Hello
Everyone,
Today I am reviewing Essence The I love Stage Eyeshadow Base.
Product Description - The I love stage – eyeshadow base is the star of the
show! it is multifunctional and can either be used as a base for concealer or
eyeshadow. the creamy texture won’t settle in the crease of your eyelid - it
makes every eyeshadow last longer and intensifies the colour. For a smooth eye
make-up that is just waiting for its grand appearance in the spotlight!
Price – 3.49 USD/ 2.49 GBP
Packaging – It comes in a sleek plastic tube with a doe foot
applicator. Very handy and easy to use.
Performance - It is a tinted base and comes in only one shade. The
shade works perfectly fine for me but it might be a little dark for lighter
skin tones and vice versa. The texture of this is really creamy and easy to
blend on the lids with fingers or with a brush. Once blended it sets into a
matte finish. I have pigmented eyelids and this neutralizes discolouration perfectly.
Giving me a nice base to work with. I like using it on its own as well but I
set it with a little translucent powder and I am good to go. Setting it with
powder helps prevent it from creasing. Works out nicely if I am in a hurry
or if I am going for a natural look. This definitely enhances eyeshadow colours
and makes them pop and stay put for 5 -6 hours without creasing. Considering
that my eyelids are oily it is pretty decent. It creases after 5 -6 hours but eyeshadows still stay on for 8 – 10 hours.
The Good:
- Very Affordable
- Creamy Texture
- Blends easily
- Sets into a matte finish
- Pigmented
- Neutralizes discolouration
- Enhances eyeshadow colour
The Bad:
- Creases in 5 -6 hours
- Availability
Nice
texture, easy to blend, neutralizes discolouration and most importantly
enhances eyeshadow colour. Great product for what it’s worth and perfect for
day to day use. If you can do try it out.
