H&M Eye Colour To Go in Fairytale Review & Swatches
Hello
Everyone,
Today I am
reviewing H&M Eye Colour To Go in
Fairytale for you guys which I hauled a while back here. I wanted to get something glittery for the upcoming festive season and this one caught my attention. Let's see how this one fared out.
Product Description:
A
water-resistant eyeshadow and eyeliner in one. Available in a range of vibrant
colors and effects, the creamy texture is blendable for tug-free application.
The convenient jumbo pencil is great for travel or as part of your handbag
essentials. 0.06 oz. How to use: Apply on your lash line and/or eyelid
depending on your desired effect. Blend gently with a brush or your fingertip.
Price: 5.99 USD
Packaging: It is a
sharpenable plastic eye pencil with colour coded bottom. It is bit difficult to
sharpen it due plastic body.
Performance: H&M Eye Colour To Go in Fairytale is
a frosty shimmery pink shade. The moment I swatched it in the store I fell in
love with the shade and had to get it. But the love affair didn’t last for
long. The shade is really pretty but the formula of these is bad. To start with
they go on very patchy, if you try layer it up it tends to cake up. Colour pay
off isn’t great either on application it looks very glittery and the pink
colour doesn’t show up that much. On blending it just gets wiped off completely and you’re left with
glitter particles on your lids. Lasting power is not that great either it creases pretty badly. And after 2 hours it starts fading and disappearing unevenly and is not at all a pretty sight. I am so disappointed with this
product.
The Good:
- Nice Shades
The Bad:
- Goes on patchy
- Colour pay off is not great
- Poor staying power
- Creases badly
Whatever
products I tried from H&M Makeup line till now worked out great except this
one. Shade was really pretty and if it had better formula this would have been
an awesome product. Let me know if you have tried this and what do you feel about
it.
