Hello Everyone,
Today I am sharing a DIY Hair Mask with you guys. Before we move forward I would like to tell you a bit about my hair. I have naturally curly hair and as you know curly hair are prone to dryness and frizz. I too have the same issues, my hair gets extremely dry, frizzy and unmanageable. I am always on a lookout for products that can tame my mane. But more often than not products don't do much so I went the natural way. I have tried DIY masks earlier as well but never stuck to them as I found them to be a hassle, so never saw any significant results because you have to be kinda a regular with them. But this time around I was determined to give them a serious go and after trying a bunch of hair mask I think this ones works best for my hair plus it is quite easy to make and apply. And it showed visible results from the very first use.
Recipe:
- 1/2 Cup Yogurt
- 2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
Mix everything together and apply on the scalp and on the lengths of your hair. Keep it on for atleast 30 mins and if you can leave it on for longer. Shampoo and condition as you would normally do.
You will be left with soft and bouncy hair.
Hope you liked this post!!

Hello Everyone,
Today I am reviewing Yves Rocher Provencal Lavandin Roll-On Deodorant for you guys today.
Product Description:
All the pleasure of the aromatic
notes of Provençal Lavandin can be found in this Roll-On Deodorant. This aluminium salts-free formula contains a
botanical deodorant ingredient. Enriched with Organic Aloe Vera, it softly
protects the skin.
Result : a formula that respects the skin.
Price: 4.95 USD
Packaging:
Packaging
is a typical roll on deo packaging. Nothing very special. The lid of the roll
on is easy to twist both on and off and beneath is a transparent plastic ball
which is smooth and glides when touched.

Performance:
I love
Lavender fragrance and when I saw this one in the store this caught my
attention plus it says it has no aluminium salts, alcohol and paraben. The roll on is easy to apply as plastic ball
is quite smooth and just glides on the skin and covers the area evenly. The
liquid is very thin in consistency and comes out clear. As the consistency of this is thin it takes a
while to dry down and if you get dressed immediately after applying it, it gets
rubbed off. Once it dries down you can’t
even feel it except the beautiful scent that lingers on. The deodorant is
transparent and I never had a problem with it causing white marks on clothing.
I hate it when deodorant does that. As I told you earlier I love lavender scent
and this one is no exception to that. I love the smell of it and it feels so
clean and fresh. The deodorant itself is nice and keeps me fresh and dry for
long time but at this point I would like tell you that in general I don’t sweat
much plus I don’t have a problem of body odour so pretty much any deo works for
me. Plus I have not tried it on a hot summer day when I do sweat. But I think
this might not be the one to keep in your gym bag. I like using it everyday
after taking shower and I let it be if I am at home all day but if I am heading
out somewhere I layer it with my Oriflame Nature Secret Lavender and Fig body
spray or a perfume.

The Good:
- Love the fragrance
- Easy to use
- Travel friendly
- Doesn’t stain your clothes
- Has no aluminium and alcohol
- Affordable
The Bad:
- Availability
- Might not be great if you
sweat a lot.
It is a
nice product if you are looking for a deo that is aluminium, alcohol and
paraben free. It has a beautiful fragrance that lingers but is not too overpowering and does not interfere with your perfumes. Might not be the best
option for your gym bag.
Hope you like this post!!

Hello
Everyone,
Today I am
reviewing H&M Eye Colour To Go in
Fairytale for you guys which I hauled a while back here. I wanted to get something glittery for the upcoming festive season and this one caught my attention. Let's see how this one fared out.
Product Description:
A
water-resistant eyeshadow and eyeliner in one. Available in a range of vibrant
colors and effects, the creamy texture is blendable for tug-free application.
The convenient jumbo pencil is great for travel or as part of your handbag
essentials. 0.06 oz. How to use: Apply on your lash line and/or eyelid
depending on your desired effect. Blend gently with a brush or your fingertip.
Price: 5.99 USD
Packaging: It is a
sharpenable plastic eye pencil with colour coded bottom. It is bit difficult to
sharpen it due plastic body.
Performance: H&M Eye Colour To Go in Fairytale is
a frosty shimmery pink shade. The moment I swatched it in the store I fell in
love with the shade and had to get it. But the love affair didn’t last for
long. The shade is really pretty but the formula of these is bad. To start with
they go on very patchy, if you try layer it up it tends to cake up. Colour pay
off isn’t great either on application it looks very glittery and the pink
colour doesn’t show up that much. On blending it just gets wiped off completely and you’re left with
glitter particles on your lids. Lasting power is not that great either it creases pretty badly. And after 2 hours it starts fading and disappearing unevenly and is not at all a pretty sight. I am so disappointed with this
product.
The Good:
The Bad:
- Goes on patchy
- Colour pay off is not great
- Poor staying power
- Creases badly
Whatever
products I tried from H&M Makeup line till now worked out great except this
one. Shade was really pretty and if it had better formula this would have been
an awesome product. Let me know if you have tried this and what do you feel about
it.

Hello Everyone,
Today I am reviewing Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for you guys. I have bought this over a month ago and have been using it since. Let's see how this one fared out.
Product description:
A super efficient and gentle way to cleanse, remove makeup, soothe the
feel of skin and hydrate in just one step – it’s not magic, it’s Garnier
Micellar!
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water contains micelles which act like
magnets, gently lifting away makeup and impurities from the skin, without the
need to rub or rinse. The result?
Beautifully cleansed and refreshed feeling skin in an instant. The
formula is suitable for the face, eye area and lips, has no perfume and comes
in a generous 400ml size.
Price: Approx 8$ / £4.99
Packaging: It comes
in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip open cap which shuts tightly. It is
a bulky bottle (400 ml) and hence not that travel friendly.
Performance: It looks
like water and has no fragrance whatsoever. So it seems you are using water to
remove your makeup. Duhhh.. it is water but Micellar Water. Micellar Water has
tiny little cleansing agents called micelles which help in lifting the dirt and
makeup from your face. They actually do a good job of removing makeup and are
very easy and convenient to use. Just pour (on cotton pads), swipe and go.
Garnier
Micellar water is very gentle and is suitable for all skin types even the
sensitive ones. It did not irritate my eyes at all and neither did it leave my
skin feeling dry or stretchy post usage. It gets rid of makeup nicely and
without much effort but it is not that effective on waterproof makeup
especially mascara. I prefer waterproof mascara and this was not able to get
rid of it even after holding the cotton pad over the eyes for a minute,
pressing and rubbing, with normal mascara(not waterproof) also I find it leaves a
little bit behind. Apart from that I think it does a good job of removing my
makeup and the process is very easy and quick. Plus it doesn’t feel sticky and
it doesn’t leave a film behind.
If you are
some one like me who prefers cleansing balm/oils to remove their makeup and
usually double cleanse this works great as a second cleanse as well and gets rid of
every last bit of makeup. It also works great as a morning cleanser. I like to
keep my morning skincare simple and quick so I just use this instead of a face
wash and get on with my moisturizer and eye cream and I am done.
The Good:
- Suitable for all skin types.
- Very convenient.
- Removes makeup easily and
effectively.
- Works great as a second
cleanse.
- Did not dry out my skin.
- Doesn’t feel sticky.
- Doesn’t leave a film behind.
- Very Affordable.
The Bad:
- Not that effective on
waterproof mascara.
Now with
so many Micellar water available in the market this is the most budget friendly
option out there. Removes makeup quite nicely and easily. Love how convenient
to use it is and so gentle. If you can do try it out.

Hello Everyone,
Reading
all the empties post really inspired me to do this. I am really bad at
finishing products because I get bored quickly and switch to something else and
products seem to just pile up. But from last month or two I made it a point to
finish up products and I have to admit it feels really good. And after throwing
up all these bottles I have so much space in my cabinet and it looks way more neat and
tidy now. Enough with the rambling. Let’s see what all I managed to finish up.
Here they
are:
- Oriflame Nature Secrets Exfoliating Shower Gel with Energising Mint
& Raspberry – I love this shower gel.
Smells refreshing and gentle enough that you can use it everyday. With
regular use it improves skin texture as well. Review here. Will definitely buy
it again.
- Oriflame Happy Skin Caring Body Lotion Sensitive Skin – I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Nice citrusy fragrance
and light weight yet very moisturising. Review here. Would love to try
other variants from this range.
- Rituals Samurai Shower Foam for Men - Reading
this you would be like why the hell men product are being mentioned here.
Well I love the smell of this and I loved using it from time to time. Unique
shower foam technology. In contact with water transforms this gel
into a foam.
- Rituals Samurai Cool Deo Spray for Men- I didn't use this one but this smells so amazing and I think it is a nice option for the men in your life. 24 hour protection against perspiration and undesired body
odor. Mild and moisturizing. Organic Bamboo is known for its healing
properties. Cedarwood gives a surprising fragrance experience.
- Dove Advanced Hair Thearpy Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo – I didn’t liked this much. It
says its for dry/dull hair but it didn’t do much for me. It cleaned my
scalp nicely but left my hair a bit dry. Not gonna buy this again.
- Olay Regenerist Anti Ageing
Revitalising Serum – I really like this serum. It is very hydrating and gets absorbed
almost instantly. But I have an issue with its packaging once the product
starts to run low the pump stops dispensing the product and there’s a load
left and you have to scrape it out. I am trying something else and will
see. But I would not mind buying it again. Review here
- Olay Regenerist
Revitalising Eye Serum – Another nice product from Olay.
It’s light weight and very brightening and not at all greasy. But if you
are looking for something to treat your dark circles then this might not
be your best option. Would try something which is more effective on dark
circles. Review here
- Clarins HydraQuench
Intensive Serum Bi Phase – Amazing product for dry and
dehydrated skin. My skin loves this product and this makes my skin feel so
hydrated and nourished. But it so pricey. I think I will try something
more pocket friendly this time.
- Neutrogena Rapid
Wrinkle Repair Moisturizer with SPF 30 – It is a light weight moisturizer with SPF 30. It is a nice
moisturizer but I prefer it for summers and need something more rich for
colder months. Will be getting this again.
- Elizabeth Arden
Ceramide Lash Extending Treatment Mascara – It is more of an everyday mascara. It nicely defines your lashes
and adds length to them but doesn’t do anything in the volume department.
Staying power isn’t great either and it flakes a lot. Won’t be getting
this again.
- Fleur Pour Femme for
Women Eau De Parfum – I really like floral
scents and this was no exception. Fragrance is not too strong or overpowering and lasts quite
a while.
I hope you
like this post!!

Hello Everyone,
Today I am
reviewing H&M Lush Lip Vinyl in
Tuscan Blush. I really liked the way H&M new line looks but was really
sceptical how they are going to perform. I am so happy with the eyeliner you
can read all about it here. So let’s see how this one fares out.
Product Description - A liquid
lip gloss with a luxurious, lacquered finish in many striking colours. A non-sticky-formula
makes it easy to apply. 2 ml. To do this: Apply directly, or after lip primer.
Price: Approx 9 USD
Packaging: It comes
in a transparent tube with a golden screw on lid. Has a doe foot applicator.
Performance: H&M Lush Lip Vinyl in Tuscan Blush is
pretty pinkish nude shade, perfect everyday shade. There are four
shades available in this range. H&M Lush Lip Vinyl are very moisturising,
creamy and smooth. They are quite thick in consistency and feel more like a
liquid lipstick than a lip gloss. They are thick but not gloopy or sticky and
don’t settle in lip lines. Very pigmented and
the opacity of these is such that they can cover pigmented or discoloured lips.
They are very creamy so you can’t expect them to be transfer or kiss
proof. As far as staying power goes it can handle light drinking and snacking
but not meals. It stayed put for 3 -4 hrs with little drinks but after a meal
it was completely gone but you can still feel the moisturising effect on your
lips. If applied over a lip pencil or a lipstick staying power definitely
improves.
The Good:
- Very Moisturising
- Creamy and smooth
- Pigmented
- Doesn’t settle into fine
lines.
- Affordable
- Covers pigmented or
discoloured lips
The Bad:
- Limited shade range.
- Staying power is not great
Love the
colour, formula and pigmentation of these. Not a huge fan of the staying power
but it’s not that bad as well. Personally I don’t mind reapplying it.

Hello
Everyone,
Today I am
reviewing H&M Colour Essence
Eye Pencil in Lovely Lilac which I have recently got from H&M New Makeup Collection
you can see what all I got here. The colour is really pretty and it swatched
nicely as well but I was quite sceptical as to how it actually going to perform,
whether I am going to like it or not. So let’s see if this is a hit or a miss.
Product Description: A richly
pigmented eyeliner pencil with soft and creamy formula. It is easy to apply and
sit all day. The pen is available in a variety of intense shades with different
effects - from matte to metallic, pearlescent and glittery. 1.2 g.
Price: 5.7 USD
Packaging: It is a
sharpenable plastic eye pencil with colour coded bottom. It is bit difficult to
sharpen it due plastic body.

Performance: H&M
Colour Essence Eye Pencil in Lovely Lilac is a bright purple shade
with slight shimmer. Texture of this is soft and creamy and goes on smoothly on
eyes without any tugging or pulling. It can be smudged easily and you have a
little room to play around but if you smudge it too quickly or put too much
pressure while doing so it sheers out. It is well pigmented but still I like to
go over twice to get the desired intensity of colour. Staying power is amazing
it stayed put for the whole day on my upper eyelids with slight fading by the
end of the day nothing major. I was so surprised because pencil eyeliner
doesn’t last that long on me, I have quite an oily eyelids and I was not
expecting that this would last this long. I would have been happy if it stayed
even for 4-5 hours. That’s not it there’s more, It did not get transferred to
my upper eyelids, once set it didn’t budge and is almost smudge proof. Almost
smudge proof? It doesn’t get rubbed of completely with slight touching or
rubbing, just fades a little. I have used it on my waterline as well and it
does not irritate my eyes at all. It is nowhere mentioned if it is waterproof or
not. It comes off easily with any makeup remover. The formula is creamy so the
tip loses it shape very quickly and you have to sharpen it to maintain a pointy
tip. If you are someone who likes thin precise liners then you would not like
this.

The
Good:
·
Amazing staying power
·
Does not transfer
·
Smudge Proof
·
Nice shades
·
Did not irritate my eyes
·
Texture is really creamy soft
The Bad:
·
Loose it shape too quickly
·
Sharpening leads to product
wastage
This eye
pencil has amazing staying and it does not budge. The shade is really nice,
texture is soft and smooth. I liked this a lot and would highly recommend them.
I am eyeing some other shades from this range. If you can definitely try it
out.

Today I am
reviewing Seche Base Ridge Filling Base Coat. I have showed this in my June
Haul here.
Product Description - Seche Base is specially formulated to help disguise
nail imperfections. Seche Base has an incomparable bonding ability and will
give Seche Vite the best anchor to hold onto.
Price – 7 USD
Performance – Seche Base Ridge Filling Base Cost is milky white in
colour and has a pearlescent finish. It is neither to runny nor to thick and
goopy in consistency. Brush is a standard nail polish brush round and straight at the top. It applies smoothly on to the nails and does quite a nice
job of filling the ridges and unevenness of nails and leaves a smooth surface
to work upon. When I use this my nail polish goes on much smoother and this
helps with the staying power as well. With this underneath my nail polish I
have experienced less staining issues. Its milky white colour doesn't affect
the actual shade of nail polishes, I usually wear bright shades and I have
faced no such issue but if you wear sheer nail polishes or real light shades
then it might affect the final result. So it is something you should keep in
mind while buying this. On its own also it looks quite nice and I have used
this by itself with a top coat over it for low maintenance yet groomed look.
The Good:
- Fills the ridges effectively
- Smoothens nails
- Nail polish lasts longer
- Less staining
- Looks nice on its own also
- Quantity (14 ml)
The Bad:
This has
actually improved my manicure routine and works great for me. I am sorted for a while with this one because a little goes a long way.
PS - It was not showing up in pictures so I have applied 2 - 3 coats of this so that it is visible in the pictures. With single coat it does not look this white.

Today I am reviewing NYX Slim Lip
Pencil in 817 Hot Red. I picked up this lip pencil in my last haul here. I have already reviewed Bloom here and if you have read that post than you know that I really liked that one. Hot Red is from the same line so the formula wise they are same. Let's see how this one fares out.
Product Description - Slim trim but never prim our lip pencils come in a
variety of dashing shades—from auburn to orange and traffic-stopping red. The
buttery long-wearing lip liner formula goes on easily and resists bleeding.
Price – 3.50 USD
Packaging – Packaging is simple nothing fancy. Black glossy wooden pencil with a
colour coded bottom.
Performance – NYX slim lip pencil in 817 Hot Red is a perfect bright slightly bluish red. These
lip pencils are creamy and smooth yet firm. They just glide on your lips
without tugging or pulling of any sorts. They are quite forgiving even if you
have dry lips. Does not accentuate lip lines. Very pigmented and the opacity of
these is such that they can cover pigmented or discoloured lips. Staying power
of this is amazing as well. It easily last for 5 -6 hours on me with snacking and
drinking, fades slightly after a meal and might need slight touch up. I love
wearing it on it own or over a lip balm; I like applying a gloss on top of it.
It goes great with all red lipsticks.
The Good:
- Creamy and smooth
- Very pigmented
- Does not settle into fine
lines
- Very affordable
- Huge shade range
- Covers pigmented or
discoloured lips
- Doesn’t dry out your lips
The Bad:
Beautiful
shade, smooth texture, great staying power and really affordable. What’s not to
love? I recommend these to each and everyone. Definitely try these out. I am
surely getting more of these.

Today I am reviewing Bioderma Sebium Serum for you. If you have been reading my blog for a while (Thank you so much!! Love you guys!!) then you know that I have already raved about this product in my June favourites
here. But still I had to a full review on this one. Last year my skin was not doing so great and I was struggling with blemishes and nothing seems to be working on them. Finally I gave up and visited a dermatologist. She recommended Bioderma Sebium Serum to me and this took care of all the issues and since then I have been using this on and off. Whenever a pesky little pimple comes up I use this and it's taken care of.
Product Description: Smoothing and purifying skin
renovator concentrate for combination or oily skin with persistent blemishes. This keratolytic care corrects existing
blemishes, smoothes and refines the skin texture through a gentle peeling effect.
It evens out irregular countours and re-establishes the skin's natural
radiance. Sébium Sérum, associated with the exclusive patented Fluidactiv
complex which regulates and stabilizes the quality of sebum and prevents the
appearance of blemishes, contains two dermatological active ingredients:
glycolic acid which smoothes and purifies, and D-Panthenol which intensely
soothes. Its innotivative gel-type texture is well tolerated.
Directions for use:
Apply every other evening to skin that has been
thoroughly cleansed with Sébium H2O or Sébium Gel Moussant. For optimal
results, use Sébium Sérum as a "cure" for 4 weeks consecutively,
either on its own or with your usual overnight care. Avoid eye contour and
lips.
Price: 22 USD
Packaging: It comes in a white squeeze tube with a screw on cap. It has pointy nozzle that dispenses the product.
Performance: It is clear and has a very runny
consistency (almost watery). It is recommended applying it after cleansing and
toning. After applying this product let it sit for 1-2 minutes and then you can
apply your regular moisturiser. It is not
recommended to wear a Sebium Serum during the day, because it contains glycolic
acid and glycolic acid is photosensitive, which means it can cause spots if you
go out in sun. So it is better to apply it during the night, so your skin can
recover better. But during the day you should use a face cream or fluid with a
high SPF protection of 30 or more.
When I apply this product it gives a very cooling effect and once it gets absorbed I get a slight stretchy feel for that 1-2 minutes I
have to wait before applying my moisturiser or maybe it’s just because I have
dry/ combination skin and this product is for combination/oily skin. But that
stretchy feel is not something my moisturiser can’t handle and once that’s done everything
is OK. Now coming to part on how it works on pimples. This works like a dream. I wake up in the morning with much smoother and even looking skin and those
pimples are almost gone. If my skin is acting funny and I get those tiny bumps
because of hot and humid weather then I use this all over my face on alternate
days for a week or two and this does the job for me. Otherwise I use this as a
spot treatment for occasional break outs. I thought that this would dry out my skin but surprisingly it has not dried out my skin at all.
The Good:
- Cooling
Effect
- Clear
- No
fragrance as such.
- Did
not dry out my skin.
- Effective.
- Little
goes a long way.
The Bad:
- A
bit pricey.
- Availability
is an issue.
No other product has shown such great results on my skin. So I am very
happy that I have this in my stash. If you suffer from blemishes then you
should try it. It might work for you as well.
