Today I am
reviewing Studio 10 Brow Lift Perfecting
Eyeliner for you guys.
Product Description: For brows
that wow! Define and frame the face with this instant quick fix for
completely natural-looking brows.
Ultra creamy, long last double ended line features a
universal defining and shaping shade paired with a natural-skin coloured
highlighter. With a unique ‘ash’ toned shade that mimics hair, it colour
adjusts to every colour based on how hard you press.
PARABEN FREE
Developed in partnership with cancer charity Look Good
Feel Better (LGFB) to raise much-needed awareness, products or funds at a time
when one in two people will face cancer in their lifetime.
Benefits:
- All in one brow and
highlighter with a unique, colour adjusting, brow shade to mimic hair.
- Longlast wear that won’t fade
or smudge
Contains Vitamin E to soothe, hydrate and protect.
Price: 28 USD/22 GBP
Performance: Studio 10 Brow Lift Perfecting Eyeliner is
a dual ended pencil. On one end is the brow pencil and on the other is the
highlight. The brow pencil is a taupe shade and the highlighter is a creamy
nude shade. This brow pencil comes in a single shade and the brand says it has
colour adjusting technique so a single shade will be suitable for all. This is
the kind of shade that I used to go for before KIKO precision eyebrow pencil.
This particular shade makes your brows look so natural. The texture of this pencil is soft and creamy yet stiff enough that it
doesn’t crumbles. Formula of this feels a bit waxy in comparison to my other
brow pencil but it provides a nice hold and brows stay in place quite nicely.
The
lasting power of this is good as well, it stays put all day long on me and
doesn’t fade or smudge. The pencil is not very slim or fine so the precision
application is a bit tricky and the tip loses it shape after few applications
but that’s not a big issue you can sharpen it to get a fine tip.
Highlighter is
good too, has the same creamy texture and blends quite nicely. You can use it
to highlight your brow bone or go around the edges of your brow to get clean
lines and make your brows look more defined. I have used it on my waterline as
well and it works perfectly. The shade is not too harsh and doesn’t look weird
on the waterline. It cancels all the redness and brightens up the eyes and makes you look more
awake, perfect for early mornings.
The
Good:
- Nice shade
- 2 in 1 product
- Pigmented
- Easy to use
- Looks very
natural
- Lasts long
- Doesn’t irritate
- Supports a great cause
The
Bad:
- Pricey
- Doesn’t have a
brush
- Availability
- Comes in only one
shade.
Really
nice brow pencil and I love how natural it looks. I am glad I got to try this
because otherwise I would have never got this myself. I don’t think I will
repurchase it because it is quite pricey and there are so many other ones that
I want to try out.
Hope you
liked this post!!

Hello
Everyone,
Today I am
reviewing the newly launched L'Oréal Paris Infallible Sexy Balm. Sexy Balms
comes in two finishes sheer and bold. Sheer range has 5 shades in it (102
Goosip, 103 As If, 104 Break the rules, 109 Such a babe, 111 Go pretty or go home) and
the Bold range has three shades (202 Adventure, 203 Yala Yolo, 204 Never Stop).
I usually gravitate towards nude shades so I picked up 103 As If from the sheer
range. Let’s see how this one fared out.
Product Description: L'Oréal
Paris Infallible Sexy Balm - Highly pigmented and moisturising lipstick for
every occasion. Bring it with you wherever you go, once you've tested it
there's no going back! Enriched
with a moisturising gel balm, it keeps your lips soft and smooth for up to 12
hours, and with amazing colour! For soft and beautiful lips, anytime, anywhere.
- Highly
pigmented and moisturising.
- Moisturises
for up to 12 hours.
- No
sticky feeling
Price: 8 USD/ 6.99€
Packaging: It comes
in a twist up black plastic body with a colour coded transparent plastic cap.

Performance:
L'Oréal Paris Infallible Sexy Balm 103 As If is a perfect pinky nude shade with slight brown undertone. It
is from the sheer range but still the colour payoff is pretty good. Really
creamy and buttery smooth in texture and applies like a dream on your lips. Finish of this is very glossy and makes your lip looks very
juicy and hydrated. It instantly smoothen your lips no matter how dry or
flaky they are and it doesn't settle into the lip
lines or accentuate them. Is very moisturising on the lips and the best part is
it doesn’t feel heavy on the lips and is not at all sticky. Staying power is
around 2-3 hours, glossy effect starts to fade off after an hour or so but the
moisturising effect lasts even after the colour wears off. It cannot withstand
a meal and wears of a bit while drinking. These are scented so if you do not
like fragrance in your lipsticks then this might not be for you.
The Good:
- Available in 8 shades
- Easy to use
- Creamy and smooth
- Very Moisturising
- Lovely shade
- Doesn't settle into fine lines.
- Non sticky
- Affordable
The Bad:
- Fragrance might be a concern for some.
Sheer
range is great for daily wear. Just slap it on and you are good to go. These
are very moisturising and doesn’t feel heavy or sticky. You have to reapply it
throughout the day so if you don’t mind that then you should definitely try
these out. I really like it and would pick up more shades from this range.
Hope you
liked this post!!

Today I am reviewing KIKO Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow in 05 & 06 for you guys. These are one of the most popular products from the brand and people really like these. Let's see how they fared out for me.
Product Description - Stick
Eyeshadow - Extreme hold for a blendable intense colour. The creamy formula
ensures extreme blendability of the line immediately after application. Once
set, the colour remains uniform and radiant for up to 8 hours, without streaking
or smudging. Water Resistant, Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow gives
splendid, pure and vibrant colour tones. Application is simple and comfortable,
thanks to the special rounded stick and its ultra-smooth and light texture. Available
in 32 high-impact shades.
Price: 5.90 USD/ 6.90 GBP
Packaging: It comes
in a matte plastic stick packaging with coloured coded bottoms. Just swirl the
stick for product to come out. Packaging is sturdy and very convenient to use.
Performance: I have two
shades of KIKO Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow – 05
& 06.
Shade 05: Is a rosy brown/taupey shade with pink shimmers
in it. Beautiful shade and looks amazing on the eyes.
Shade 06: Is a golden bronze shade with silver shimmers in it. This one is almost identical to Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze.
Both the
shades are really pretty and have metallic finish. Formula and texture wise they are really buttery soft
and creamy. Glides smoothly on eyelids without any tugging or pulling. And oh
boy they are packed with pigment, just one swipe does the job. However if you blend it out it sheers down
but that’s not huge because you can layer it up to get the desired intensity. They
are very blendable but you have to keep in mind that when you apply it you have
around a minute’s window to blend it out before it dries down. Because once it
dries down it pretty much sets, so I suggest you do one eye at a time. They
claim that it stays put for 8 hours but with me that’s not the case. On me it
stays for 4 -5 hours before it starts creasing and fading. But I have to say I
have very oily eyelids so that doesn’t help at all. With a primer underneath
wear time definitely improves. I am not too impressed with the staying power
but it is not too bad either. Taking it off is pretty easy, I use an oil based
cleanser so there has never been an issue.
The Good:
- Available in 32 shades
- Formula is smooth and creamy
- Pigmented
- Can be applied with fingers or brush
- No shimmer fallout.
- Layers well
- Dries down in a minute
- Very easy to use
- Travel friendly
The Bad:
- Doesn’t
last for 8 hours.
- Creases
after 4-5 hours.
- Availability
I really
like the shades and the ease of using these. Staying power is not the best but
it is not the worst. Might not be the best pick if you are going to be
having a long day but for an occasion or eating out or for when you know you are
out for 4 – 5 hours only it is a nice option. I carry it in makeup bag for touch ups and it works out fine.

Today I am reviewing Catrice Beautifying Lip Smoother 030 Cake Pop for you guys.
Product Description: Beautifier. The Beautifying Lip
Smoother complements every natural make-up look: a subtle colour-dispersion in
pastel rosé and gentle nude shades with a glossy finish ensure a soft,
well-groomed appearance. The Lip Smoother visibly evens out fine lines around
your lips for flawless results. Its flock applicator and the practical tube
packaging guarantee an easy application. Available in two shades:
Price: 3.79€
Packaging:
It comes in a tube packaging of the same shade of the product with a spongy
applicator.
Performance:
Catrice Beautifying Lip Smoother 030 Cake Pop is a peachy coral shade. Lip smoother is quite
sheer and when applied it gives lips a shine with a bit of colour. It looks very natural and feels like my lips but 10 times better. Finish
of this is not overtly very shiny or glossy but it makes your lip appear very
smooth, hydrated and juicy. It doesn't settle into the lip lines or accentuate
them. Formula of these is really creamy and smooth in texture and just glides
on your lips. No pulling or tugging at all. Very moisturising on the lips and
is not at all sticky. On me it lasts for 2- 3 hours and it cannot withstand a meal
and wears of a bit while drinking. It has a strong sweet scent so if you do not
like fragrance in your lip products then this might not be for you.
The Good:
- Very Affordable
- Available in three shades
- Natural looking
- Very moisturising
- Makes your lip appear very smooth
- Easy application
- Non sticky
The Bad:
- Not very pigmented
- Availability
Catrice
Beautifying Lip Smoother can be best described as a combination of a balm and a
lip gloss. If you are someone who likes a product that gives your lips - MLBB
look, doesn’t mind glossy finish, moisturisation and reapplying the product
throughout the day. Then this product is for you. Plus it is so affordable that you can't go wrong with this one.

Today I am reviewing Catrice Illuminating Blush 040 La Vie En Rose for you guys. Let's see how this one fared out.
Product Description: The Illuminating Blush combines
two different colour-intensities with a subtle shimmer and a light pearl. This
accentuates the cheekbones as well as giving your complexion definition and a
soft glow.
Price: 3.99 €
Packaging: It comes in a transparent compact case
which looks very similar to the Essence Mosaic Blush. It is very simple and
basic but not flimsy. It feels quite sturdy and flip top shuts nice and tight.
Performance:
Catrice Illuminating Blush 040 La Vie En Rose is a muted peach shade with a hint
of pink to it. This
blush has such a beautiful chequered zigzag pattern which looks so attractive
and pretty. I bought this one and the Essence Mosaic Blush mainly because of
the way they look. 040 La Vie En Rose has two shades in it, a lighter peach
shade in the middle and a slightly darker dusty rose pink shade on the sides. Both
swirled together gives you a very light peachy pink shade. Being an illuminating blush, it has shimmer particles
in it but is not glittery and you don’t end up looking like a glitter ball. It
is very smooth in texture and has a very satiny feel. It is decently pigmented
and very bendable. Because it is a very light shade, it doesn’t show up too
much on my skin tone. I like it for daily wear as it is not too intense and
gives just a hint of colour with a dash of glow on the cheeks. At times I layer
it on top of other matte blushes and it looks very nice as it adds a bit of
sheen. Lasting power is decent as well and it
lasts for 4-5 hours on me before it starts to fade away on me and even when the colour fades a hint of shimmery glow
remains.
The Good:
- Available in three
shades.
- Very pretty to look at.
- Very affordable
- Easy to blend.
- Gives a very subtle glow
- Nice staying power.
- Good Quality
The Bad:
- Availability is an
issue.
If you are
someone who likes subtle blushes then this is for you. Really nice shade and
great for daily wear. Catrice product are so
affordable and of good quality. You can’t go wrong with them. If you can do try
them out.
Hope
you liked this post!!

Today
I am reviewing PBJ Smoothie Stick for you guys. I got this lip crayon in my
June Glossybox. I have never heard of this brand before but that’s why I like
these beauty subscription boxes because you get to try so many products from different
brands. So let’s see how this one fared out.
Product Description:
Our PBJ Smoothie Stick is an ode to our favourite healthy smoothie, Peanut
Butter Jelly. We like ours with Almond Butter instead for a healthier hit of
antioxidants and magnesium. The PBJ Smoothie Stick is a creamy and hydrating
lip treatment which delivers moisturising, rich colour.
Price: 13.20 € / 14.95 USD
Performance: PBJ Smoothie Stick is
a Creamy Lip Crayon with twist up mechanism. I am not sure what shade this is
exactly as it is nowhere mentioned on the product and neither is it mentioned
on the list that comes in Glossybox. I have looked online for product
info/swatches and I think it is Guava Nice Day. Guava Nice Day is a pretty
berry pink shade which IMO will suit most skin tones. I thought that it will be
a sheer, balmy type of a lip product but I was so surprised by this product.
Like pleasantly surprised, this is a full on lipstick and has the nicest
formula, feels really velvety smooth and just glides
on your lips. No pulling or tugging at all. Finish of this is something I am really impressed with because it has matte finish but it feels so moisturising on
the lips. It is so different from the usual matte lipstick that sucks the life
out of your lips. I have dry lips and I stay clear of matte lip product but
this feels so comfortable on the lips and doesn’t dry them out further. It
doesn't settle into the lip lines or accentuate them. Very pigmented
and the opacity of this is such that it can cover pigmented or discoloured
lips. It is not
transfer or kiss proof but staying power is decent. It can last easily for 5 -6
hours with slight fading in the middle and it can withstand a meal and is not
completely wiped off but you definitely need to touch it up throughout the day.
If you use a lip liner then the wear time definitely improves. The only point
of concerns with this is: One, the fragrance, it has a strong fruity scent. Personally
I don’t mind it and I don’t sense it once I have applied it. But if you don’t
like scented stuff then it could be an issue for you. Second, the plastic cap is too flimsy.
The Good:
- Creamy and smooth
- Love the matte finish
- Moisturising
- Pretty shade
- Doesn't settle into fine lines.
- Decent staying power
- Covers pigmented or
discoloured lips
The Bad:
- Availability
- Fragrance might be a concern for some.
I really
wanted to wear matte lips but most of them are drying and that’s why I stayed
clear of them. But finally with this product I can sport a matte look. Plus the
colour, formula and pigmentation of this is great. I really liked it and I am
happy I got to try it.
Hope you
liked this post!!

Today I am reviewing Essence Mosaic Blush in 20 All You Need Is Pink for you guys.
Product Description: Mix it. Coordinated
colours arranged in a mosaic-pattern and mingle during application to an
individual colouring – blush for every skin type.
Price: €3
Packaging: It comes in a transparent compact case which looks
very basic but it is quite sturdy. The lid shuts nice and tight and stays that
way in your bag.
Performance: Essence Mosaic Blush in 20 All You Need Is Pink as
the name says is a pink blush with a hint of coral in it. The blushes have a
beautiful mosaic pattern that looks so attractive and which is why I bought it.
Got totally sucked into by the way it looks. Each blush has three different
coloured triangles, which you can swirl together to get the perfect shade. All
you Need Is Pink has two pink shades and a coral one, which once swirled
together gives you a pretty peachy pink blush shade.

At first glance it looks
like a matte blush but it is not. It has a slight sheen to it but is not glittery
and you don’t end up looking like a glitter ball. It just adds a nice wash of
colour that looks very natural and subtle. Formula of the blush is a bit
powdery but not chalky. The application part is very
smooth and blush is very blendable.
Pigmentation wise it is on the sheer side, so for daily wear it is a nice
option plus if you are a beginner this is great one to start with because it is
pretty much a goof proof product. You can definitely layer it up to make it
more intense but still looks very subtle and I like that about this blush.
Lasting power is decent as well and it lasts for 4-5 hours on me before it starts to fade away.
The
Good:
- Available in four shades.
- Very
affordable
- Easy
to blend.
- Gives a very subtle and
natural look
- Nice
staying power.
- Good
Quality
The Bad:
- Availability is an
issue.
I really
like this blush and is great for daily wear. Essence product are so affordable
and of good quality. You can’t go wrong with them. If you can do try them out.

Today I am reviewing p2 Volume Gloss Gel Look Polish in the shade 010 Little Princess for you guys. Let’s see how it fared out.
Product Description: A voluminizing effect thanks to a special plumping formula for the ultimate ‘gel’ look. The polish is formulated for a long-lasting, high-gloss finish while providing high coverage and perfect color transfer. It includes a voluminizing fanning brush for perfect, fast results, as the brush fans out on the nail, permitting application in one brushstroke without streaking.
- Available in 24 colors
- Content 12 ml
Performance: p2 Volume Gloss Gel Look Polish in 010 Little Princess is a baby pink shade. The formula of this is very creamy and thick but not too thick either that it feels gloopy. Though the formula is creamy and thick it dries fairly quickly and you don’t have to wait much in between the coats which is always good. It is very nicely pigmented but two or even three coats are required for the perfect look. First coat went on very streaky but second coat was a lot smoother but I have to say that they do go on a bit streaky. As far as shine is concerned they are quite glossy looking and it lasts for a good couple of days and then starts fading slightly. I really like the brush of this nail paint it is very similar to the L’Oreal Color Riche ones which I love but slightly thicker. It picks up the right amount of polish and just glides so effortlessly on your nails covering them perfectly. Onto the part that matters the most staying power, four days in and no chipping at all it didn’t even fade from the edges. The shine has faded a little but nothing much. Really like the way it looks on day four. It chipped slightly from the tips by the fifth day but nothing major. All in all highly impressed with the staying power. On it own it stayed on for five day with a base and top coat it will stay put for longer.

The Good:
- Nice shade
- Glossy finish
- Good staying power
- Nice brush
- Nice shade range
- Quantity
- Affordable
The Bad:
- A bit streaky
- Availability

Today I am
reviewing KIKO MILANO Soft Touch Blush in 105 for you
guys. I bought it ages ago and did a haul post as well but somehow I didn’t get
around reviewing it until today. So without any further delay let’s see how
this one fared out.
Product
Description: Radiant and highly pigmented powder blush. Long lasting colour.
Available in 12 shades.
Price: 12
USD/ 9 GBP
Packaging:
It comes in a sleek black rubberised feel compact case with a little mirror
inside. Packaging feels nice and sturdy but gets dirty super quick.
Performance:
KIKO MILANO Soft Touch Blush in 105 is a mauve/dusty rose pink shade with warm
undertones. There is definitely a theme going on here. I am really into mauvy
pink shades right now. These are my favourite kind of lip shades and now I like
the blush in this shade as well. But
for me this is such a nice change from the usual bright pink/peach blush shades
which I normally gravitate towards. This is more of an everyday blush for me which gives a nice wash of colour that looks very natural and subtle. It is a matte blush so has no shimmer
whatsoever in it and in the pan it looked like it will be hard, powdery and
chalky but to my surprise it is not. It is very smooth in texture and has a very satiny
feel. Though it kicks off a little powder when you swirl your brush in it but
it doesn’t look powdery on and neither does it look patchy or blotchy on the skin.
The application part is very smooth and easy. Blush is very blendable and if
you end up applying too much you can easily sheer it out. Pigmentation is great
too one or two swirls and you are done. You can definitely layer it up if you
want to. Lasting power is good too; it lasts for 6 -7 hours on me and fades
quietly evenly.
The Good:
- Nice shades.
- Smooth texture.
- Easy to blend.
- Good staying power.
- Nicely pigmented.
- Good Quality
The Bad:
- Availability is an issue.
Good
quality product at an affordable price. Plus they are nicely pigmented, easy to
blend and have good staying power. I highly recommend these blushes.

Hello Everyone,
Today I am reviewing Essence Lipliner in 06 Satin Mauve with you guys. I hauled it on my trip to Berlin. You can see the haul post here.
Product
Description:
Intensify
those lips! Define lips beautifully with this smudge-proof and long-lasting lip
liner. Available in 6 defining shades.
Price: 1.99 USD
Packaging:
Packaging is simple
nothing fancy. It comes in a colour coded wooden pencil.
Performance: Essence
Lipliner in 06 Satin Mauve is a
dusty mauve shade with brown undertones. The lip pencil is creamy and smooth
yet firm at the same time. It is easy to apply and go on smoothly without tugging
or pulling of any sorts. It is quite forgiving even if you have dry lips and does
not accentuate lip lines. Very pigmented and quite opaque and will be able to
cover pigmented or discoloured lips. Staying power of this is amazing as well.
It easily last for 5 -6 hours on me with snacking and drinking, fades from the
middle of the lips after a meal and needs a touch up. On it’s own it looks a
bit flat on me so I prefer wearing a lipstick on top of it or a gloss. It goes
great with all the pink/ mauve lipsticks I have and even works fine under the
darker shades.
The
Good:
- Creamy and smooth
- Very pigmented
- Does not settle into fine lines
- Very affordable
- Covers pigmented or discoloured lips
- Doesn’t dry out your lips
The Bad:
Beautiful shade, smooth texture, great staying power and really
affordable. What’s not to love? I highly recommend these and if you can definitely
try these out. I would love to get other shades as well.
