Hello Everyone,

It has been a while that I did an empties post. I haven't managed to finish a whole lot during this time because I have been using different products and not sticking to any particular ones. Sharing with you guys whatever I have managed to finish.

Here they are:

Dove Hair Therapy Intense Repair Shampoo - I really liked this shampoo. It cleansed nicely and did not stripe my hair of all the moisture. Infact it made my hair soft and manageable. This was an 80 ml bottle and once it got over I bought the big one and I have to say I don’t like it. It’s the same product just different size but the new one makes my hair dry and frizzy.

Yves Rocher Redberries Exfoliating Shower Gel – It smells really nice and the smell lingers on for a while. But it was a limited edition product so this not available anymore otherwise I would have bought it again. It is gentle enough to be used daily. Full review here.

The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Body Butter – This has been my skin saviour this winter and it smells amazing. The scent is pretty strong and it lingers on for a while so if you have sensitive nose then you might not like this. I will definitely buy this in winters.

Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion – I have even lost count of how many of these I have used over time. These are a staple in my stash. Works great for dry/sensitive skin and keeps my skin hydrated. I get in a 100ml bottle so they are great for travels as well.

Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal Moisture Boost Concentrate – I really loved this serum. It is so hydrating and moisturising and my skin really loves it. If you have dry dehydrated skin then you should definitely try this one out. Full review here. I will repurchase it but before that I want to try the Vichy Hydrating Serum. Read some great reviews about it.

Revlon Photoready 3D Volume Mascara – I have read some nice reviews about this one and bought it because of the volume claims but this did not work out for me and then it dried out with in month’s time. Not impressed. Full review here.

Wish you guys a Very Happy New Year once again. Today I am sharing with you guys few things that I have been testing out.

Here they are:

NYX Above and Beyond Full Coverage Concealer in CJ13 Orange- I have been wanting to try an under eye corrector for a long time now but I was not sure if it is going to make a huge difference or not plus I didn’t want to spend too much money on it. NYX to the rescue. I love this brand they have some amazing products and are so affordable. I went for the orange one because sometimes my dark circles get really bad and I wanted something that can cancel out the darkness effectively. I have used it a couple of times only so will review it in sometime.

Revlon Photoready 3D Volume Mascara- Wanted a new mascara and this one was on offer so I picked it up. Plus it says 3D Volume I want that for my lashes.

Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal Moisture Boost Concentrate – I bought this long ago, used it a few times and somehow it got shoved in the drawer and I forgot all about it until recently when I found it during the clearout. I have started using it again but it has been a couple of weeks only and I have to use it some more to be sure. But I really like the way it smells.

Sachajuan Leave in Conditioner – Heard some nice things about this brand and wanted to try out something. I really liked that they have a leave in conditioner with a pump. It is so easy to use plus it smells amazing and the fragrance lingers so your hair smells great all day long.

Bed Head TIGI After Party – Another product I heard great reviews on. I have quite a few baby hair and whenever I style my hair they tend to stick up and do their own thing which annoys me a lot and I wanted something to get rid of it. This takes care of them for me and I like it for that and the shine it adds is much appreciated. Will review it soon.

The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body Butter – I wanted a new body butter and I haven’t tried anything from the Argan Oil Range so I picked this one up. It says hydration for dry skin and my skin is in dire need of that.

Makeup Clearout

Hello Everyone,

This was long overdue. I have been holding on to stuff that had expired or stuff I didn't like and even some empty ones. I don't know why I did that. But finally I did it and got rid of some stuff that was just piling on. So let’s see what all products I cleared out.

Here they are:

Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Waterproof Mascara – One of my favourite mascara. Love the way it pumps up the lashes and holds the curl. Doesn’t smudge or flake but not the easiest one to remove.

Lasplash Liquid Eyeliner – I got this one in a beauty box long time ago. Nice product. Has a long handle and a nice thin brush. Not a big fan of the glitter in it.

Oriflame Dual Eyeliner in Electric Purple – Love the colour but I did not like this at all. I find it very dry and is not at all smooth in application. Colour pay off wasn’t great either.

Revlon Kajal Kohl Pencil – Nicely pigmented. Creamy but not to creamy that it crumbles. Smooth to apply but the staying power is not that great and it smudges badly. I applied it on waterline and an hour later I had panda eyes. Didn’t work for me.

Marielle Eyeliner in Silver and Gold – Both very beautiful shades and richly pigmented. Smooth to apply but again the staying power sucks. It transfers to my upper eyelids and starts fading just after two hours.

Avon French Manicure Kit – I bought it thinking doing French manicures at home would be fun but it was not. I never managed to get the right look. It comes with stencils and all and I tried it a couple of times but it never came out good so I finally gave up.

Revlon Nail Enamel in 323 and 385 – Love both the shades especially 323 Lavender. Pretty shade for summers and looked great on toes. 385 was deep brown shade with golden sparkles. Nice one for autumn/winter.

Loreal Jet Set – It is too thin and even after three coats it was not opaque. Colour is pretty wish it was more opaque.

Loreal Nail Enamel in Transparent – This one confuses me. Top coats are generally clear but it is not but it says it is. Did not like it at all, it changes the way base colour looks and it doesn’t add lot of shine so I don’t understand the purpose of it.

Avon Lipbalm in Strawberry – I have gone through a bunch of these and strawberry is one of my favourite flavour. Like how light weight and moisturising this is.

Isadora Mega Wet Lipgloss in Peach Sorbet and Choco Glaze– These are the mini ones. Sheer but very glossy looking. A bit sticky but not in a grose way. Okay product not a fan.

Vichy Idealia Face Cream – It is a sample size. Got it in one of the Glossy box. A light, refreshing cream, sinks in instantly and really perks up the skin. I have dry skin so this is more suitable for summers but in winters I need something richer. Plus it doesn’t have SPF. I prefer day cream with SPF.

Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator Lotion – I am so sad this has been discontinued. Lovely product. Looked great under the foundation or mixed in with foundation. Worked great as an highlighter on top of the cheekbones and temples and anywhere else you wanna highlight.

It's the favourites time of the month. These are one of my favourite posts to read and see what people have been using and loving. So let's jump in to see what I have been loving this past month.

Olay Regenerist Anti Ageing Revitalising Serum - Its a light weight, quick absorbing and moisturising serum and my skin has been loving it. I have done a detailed review of it and you can read it here.

Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal Intense Hydrating Mask - Can't say enough good things about this mask. If you are looking for a hydrating mask that can deal with dry patches and plumps up your skin with hydration and that too in 5 minutes than look no further. You can read the review here.

Oriflames Nature Secrets Exfoliating Shower Gel - It is the mint and raspberry one and it smells amazing. Exfoliating granules are fine in texture and are not to harsh but still quite effective. Enjoying using it in the shower.

Oriflame Nature Secrets Body Spray in Lavender & Fig - Lavender is one of my favourite scents. So anything that is lavender scented I usually end up loving it and this was no exception. It also has figs in it so it doesn't smell to florally. Nice fresh smelling body spray.

Maxfactor Colour Elixir Intensifying Balm - As the name suggests they have balm like texture very creamy and moisturising. Easy to apply and are nicely pigmented. I have shade Voluptuous Pink and I am eyeing some other shades from this range as well. Will do a review soon.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Lush Lilac - This is my all time favourite shade from Revlon and I have rediscovered it and have been using it this entire month and loving it . Nice everyday shade and very moisturising.

L'oreal Super Liner in Black Lacquer- The applicator is amazing it picks up the right amount of product and is easy to use without any mess. Can do a thin line as well as thick winged eyeliner look. Doesn't smudge on me and stays put. Comes off easily with any make remover.
