Hello Everyone,
Today I am
reviewing Beauty Formulas Deep Cleansing Nose Pore Strips for you guys. I have never
used nose strips before so this is my first time trying these out. So let’s see
how these fared out.
Product Description
Beauty Formulas Deep Cleansing Nose Pore Strips are
designed to remove dirt, oil and other pore clogging debris from the nose areas
with the adhesive properties of the moistened/activated strips. The strip
adheres to the dirt and oil in your pores and then they are lifted away as you
remove the strip. The results can be seen instantly as you remove the strip.
You will notice that your pores are cleaner and less visible. Box contains 6
strips.
Price:
Approx 6.90 USD for six strips
Packaging:
They come in a box and each strip is individually packed. So you can open as a
when you need and they are travel friendly as well.
Performance:
Instructions to use one are very clearly mentioned behind each individual
package and are pretty easy to follow. Do as it exactly says and you’ll be
fine. I found it pretty easy to use and did not feel any discomfort. I was a
bit concerned about ripping it off, thought it might hurt. But it didn’t and
the whole process went on smoothly. As far as results are concerned I have no
point of reference as this was my first time using a nose strip. It did manage
to get rid of quite a few blackheads and the dirt/grime but it did not get rid of all the blackheads. I can most definitely see a
difference. My nose looks a lot clearer and feels a lot smoother. I am pleasantly surprised after trying this because I was under the impression that this would not work at all.
The Good:
- It removes blackheads &
whiteheads
- Definitely makes nose look
clearer and smoother
- Affordable
- Easily available
- Easy to use
- Did not irritate my skin
The Bad:
- Did not get rid of all the
blackheads.
- Effect doesn’t last for long.
Nice way
to keep blackheads at bay. These strips were kinda nice and I like its effect.
I will definitely keep using them regularly and will try out some other brands.
The Beauty Formula strips were not bad at all but I want to see what else is
out there and are there any better ones available than Beauty Formula.
If you guys have tried nose strips and know any good ones then do recommend in the comments.
Hope you
liked this post!!

Hello
Everyone,
Got the
Icona Milano Emotion Allowed Mascara in the June Glossybox. I have never heard
of this brand before but nonetheless I was excited to try out a new mascara
plus I love how they have included Emotion Allowed as part of the product name. So let’s get on with the review and see how this one fared out.
Product Description: Icona
Milano Emotion Allowed Mascara, Black Long lasting and with no smudges at all
this mascara is water, sweat and humidity resistant. The rich and creamy formulation
and the intense colour create a bold look. The volume is buildable. A basic
makeup remover is recommended.
Price: 19USD/ 16.50€

Performance: Formula
of this is very creamy and more on a wet side. I got this in June glossybox and
the formula is still very wet till date. It has a real slim shaped brush with
soft bristles along the length of the wand. After using the Catrice Glamour
Doll Volume Mascara I have gotten use to slim brushes and in fact I like slim
brushes now. The mascara brush hugs the lashes really nicely and because it is
so slim you can get real close to the bottom of the lashes and do the zig zag
application motion and pull them up whilst coating them evenly. Plus it is so easy to get to your
inner corner and do the bottom lashes without making a mess. It
does a nice job at separating your lashes and lifting them from the roots.
Definitely gives lengthening effect, manages to hold the curl nicely and does
give extra volume to your lashes. You can layer it up quite a bit and it doesn’t
get clumpy but if you overdo it then it definitely will clump up. It doesn’t
layer that well once dried but still you can do one or two coats once dried. It is a waterproof formula and
staying power is great. It stays put no matter what, doesn’t flake or smudge,
doesn’t irritate my eyes and lasts for whole day until I remove
it. Waterproof formulas are a bit difficult to remove but nothing an oil
based cleanser can’t handle.
My only
issue with this mascara is that tube doesn’t have the suction bit like other
mascaras. Due to this brush picks up way too much product and you have to get
the excess off every time you use it otherwise you end up with mascara all over
your eyes. It gets quite time consuming and it is not the best one to use if
you are in a hurry.
The Good:
- Nice
Formula
- Very
pigmented, true black
- Great
brush.
- Definitely
lengthens the lashes
- Holds
the curl nicely
- Volumizing
- Great
for lower lashes
- Doesn't
smudge
- Doesn’t
flake
- Stay
put all day long
- Waterproof
- Doesn't
irritate the eyes
The Bad:
- On
the expensive side.
- Availability might be an
issue.
- Brush picks up way too much
product.
I am
really having a good luck with mascaras. First Catrice Glamour Doll Volume
Mascara and now this one. I really like this mascara. It does everything I want
a mascara to do it lengthens the lashes, makes them look very defined, holds
the curl nicely, provides extra volume, lasts all day long without smudging and
is waterproof. Brush pick up way too much product but I can get over it. I am
glad I got to try it because otherwise I would have never picked it up myself.

Hello
Everyone,
Today I am
sharing my morning skincare routine with you guys. I like to keep it simple and quick
in the morning. I don’t want to faff around with too many products in the
morning and this routine has been working out for me. These products are the
main products that I use everyday. Apart from these I use a couple of other
products as and when required and I will tell you about them as well.
Cleansers:
I thoroughly cleanse my face in the night but still I like to cleanse my face
in the morning to kick start my day. I prefer using gentle cleansers in the
morning and my all time favourite for that is Cetaphil Cleansing Lotion. It is
really gentle on your skin and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry. I massage it
all over my face and neck for about 20 – 30 seconds and rinse it off with lukewarm water. Other product that I like to use is Garnier Micellar Water. Just pour
it on a cotton pad and wipe your face with it and you are good to go on with
the next step.
Eye Cream:
Using an eye cream is really important. Don’t skip this step and I recommend
start using one as soon as you are in your twenties. Precaution is better cure
guys. I have yet to find the one that I really love. Currently I am using L300 Anti Age Firming Eye Cream.
I have not used it for that long so can’t say much about if it works on dark
circles or reduces fine lines. But what I can say is it keep my under eye area
well moisturised and sits well under makeup.
Serum: I
love using serums and just can’t do without one. I have dry and dehydrated skin
so I go for the hydrating ones. Clarins Hydraquench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase is
a great product but it is a pricey one. More affordable options that really
work are Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal Moisture Boost Concentrate and Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum. I am currently
using the Vichy
one and I really like it a lot. My skin just soaks it in and it does a great
job at keeping my skin hydrated all day. I take a pump of this serum and apply it on
face and neck. I let it sit for a minute
or two before moving on to the next step.
Moisturiser:
After serum I move on to applying moisturiser. During the day and especially in
summers I don’t like using heavy creams and I prefer using one with SPF. I am
using the Formula 10.0.6 Picture Perfect Day Daily Moisturiser with SPF15. I discovered this product last year and I am on my
second tube. I like how simple yet effective this product is. Doesn’t make any
huge claims, moisturises nicely and provides a bit of sun protection as well.
I don’t
use toner on daily basis. I have made an apple cider vinegar toner and use it
when I have any active breakouts or if I feel like using one, otherwise I skip
this step. Apart from that if my eyes are really puffy in the morning I apply
aloe vera gel as soon as I get up and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. I find
it helps with puffiness and if you store aloe vera gel in fridge, results are
even better. If I am at home then I don't apply sunscreen separately but if I am going out I apply SPF 30 before doing my makeup.
Hope you

Today I am reviewing p2 Volume Gloss Gel Look Polish in the shade 010 Little Princess for you guys. Let’s see how it fared out.
Product Description: A voluminizing effect thanks to a special plumping formula for the ultimate ‘gel’ look. The polish is formulated for a long-lasting, high-gloss finish while providing high coverage and perfect color transfer. It includes a voluminizing fanning brush for perfect, fast results, as the brush fans out on the nail, permitting application in one brushstroke without streaking.
- Available in 24 colors
- Content 12 ml
Performance: p2 Volume Gloss Gel Look Polish in 010 Little Princess is a baby pink shade. The formula of this is very creamy and thick but not too thick either that it feels gloopy. Though the formula is creamy and thick it dries fairly quickly and you don’t have to wait much in between the coats which is always good. It is very nicely pigmented but two or even three coats are required for the perfect look. First coat went on very streaky but second coat was a lot smoother but I have to say that they do go on a bit streaky. As far as shine is concerned they are quite glossy looking and it lasts for a good couple of days and then starts fading slightly. I really like the brush of this nail paint it is very similar to the L’Oreal Color Riche ones which I love but slightly thicker. It picks up the right amount of polish and just glides so effortlessly on your nails covering them perfectly. Onto the part that matters the most staying power, four days in and no chipping at all it didn’t even fade from the edges. The shine has faded a little but nothing much. Really like the way it looks on day four. It chipped slightly from the tips by the fifth day but nothing major. All in all highly impressed with the staying power. On it own it stayed on for five day with a base and top coat it will stay put for longer.

The Good:
- Nice shade
- Glossy finish
- Good staying power
- Nice brush
- Nice shade range
- Quantity
- Affordable
The Bad:
- A bit streaky
- Availability

Hello Everyone,
Today I am sharing a DIY Hair Mask with you guys. Before we move forward I would like to tell you a bit about my hair. I have naturally curly hair and as you know curly hair are prone to dryness and frizz. I too have the same issues, my hair gets extremely dry, frizzy and unmanageable. I am always on a lookout for products that can tame my mane. But more often than not products don't do much so I went the natural way. I have tried DIY masks earlier as well but never stuck to them as I found them to be a hassle, so never saw any significant results because you have to be kinda a regular with them. But this time around I was determined to give them a serious go and after trying a bunch of hair mask I think this ones works best for my hair plus it is quite easy to make and apply. And it showed visible results from the very first use.
Recipe:
- 1/2 Cup Yogurt
- 2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
Mix everything together and apply on the scalp and on the lengths of your hair. Keep it on for atleast 30 mins and if you can leave it on for longer. Shampoo and condition as you would normally do.
You will be left with soft and bouncy hair.

Today I am reviewing Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal Moisture Boost Concentrate for you guys.
Product
Description: Revitalizes skin from deep within. Stimulate your skin's hydration from the very first
application and deeply revitalize your skin.
Proven effectiveness: skin's hydration immediately increases by 104 %.
Result: skin is comfortable and your complexion is radiant.
The Plus: an ultra-fresh texture. Tested under dermatological supervision.
Price: 36 USD
Ingredients: aqua/water/eau,
dimethicone, glycerin, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, methylpropanediol, hydrogenated
coconut oil, betaine, alcohol, sorbitan stearate, acer saccharum (sugar maple)
extract, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, agave tequilana leaf extract, sodium
pca, aphloia theiformis leaf extract , stearyl
alcohol,ceteth-20,parfum/fragrance, dimethicone crosspolymer, xanthan gum, salicylic
acid, zinc sulfate, sorbic acid, sodium hydroxide, tocopheryl acetate, tocopherol.
Packaging: It comes
in a transparent aqua coloured bottle with a white pump. I like the pump
dispenser; it dispenses the product nicely and you can control the quantity of
product by controlling how much you press the pump. And it comes with a little
cap on top of the pump, so the pumps nozzle is not exposed. I wish if the pump
locks like the Olay one did.
Performance: Serum is
milky white in colour and has this gel like consistency which is neither too
thick nor too thin. It smells so fresh and refreshing quite like cucumbers. The
fragrance is not that strong and neither does it linger on for to long but
people with sensitive noses do smell it before you decide on it. It spreads
very easily onto the skin and gets absorbed nicely but it feels a bit
tacky/sticky for a minute before it gets completely sunk in to the skin. It
doesn’t feel or look greasy and neither does it leave a residue behind. It is
moisturising and hydrating on its own but I follow it up with a moisturiser.
I have
been using it morning and night for a while now after cleansing my face. In the
morning I follow it up with a day cream and in the night with night cream. After
using it for 2- 3 days I noticed my skin felt well moisturised and I didn’t get
that dry, slightly stretchy feel that I sometimes get and have this urge to
reapply my moisturiser/day cream. After a
week I could see that my skin felt smoother. All moisturizers/creams glide
smoothly and easily over it and get absorbed nicely. With regular usage I have
seen that my skin feels and looks hydrated and I didn’t get any dry patches on
my face which I tend to get during winters. Plus this hydrates my skin so well
it looks more even toned and supple. Another plus was it did not clog the pores
and caused breakouts.
The Good:
- Light weight
- Spreads easily
- Gets absorbed nicely
- Non – greasy
- Hydrates & moisturised
- Makes skin smooth and soft
- Improves
skin texture and tone.
- Pump
dispenses right amount of product and prevents wastage.
The Bad:
It
is a really nice product and if you are some one who has dry or dehydrated skin
you will really like this product. It really provides a boost of hydration to
the skin and makes your skin smooth and soft. I really like this product and
highly recommend it.
Hope

Today I am reviewing L'oreal Lumi Magique Light Infusing Foundation in shade W5 Gold Sand.
Product Description: Lumi Magique is a light infusing
foundation infused with Liquid Light technology. Looks luminous on the skin,
feels light to touch. Oil-free hydrating formula.
Price:
$12.95
Packaging:
It comes in a glass bottle with a pump and a transparent cap to cover the pump.
Performance:
I have the shade W5 Gold Sand and it is a great shade match for me (I am NC40 in MAC)and I think it will suitable for people who are shade NC37 - NC40 in MAC . The
consistency of this is not to thin that it’s watery and not too thick either.
It just glides on and blends seamlessly into the skin. It provides decent
coverage which can be built up. But by no means is it a full coverage
foundation. It is definitely a dewy foundation which is more suitable for
dry/combo skin might not be that great for oily skin. Formula is quite lightweight and feels very comfortable on the skin. I love the radiance it
gives and the way it makes my skin look so glowy without making it shiny or greasy. It
doesn’t accentuate lines or pores on the face and neither does it oxidises. I have applied it with my
fingers and with brush as well and I think it works just fine both ways but if
I want to build it up then I prefer using a brush. It lasts for good 6 -7 hours
on me on its own but with a primer and setting powder it lasts for 8+ hours.
The Good:
- Packaging
- How lightweight it is
- Blends seamlessly
- Radiance and glow it gives
- Buildable coverage
- Affordable
The Bad:
- Limited shade range available
- No SPF
I absolutely love this
foundation. The shade is a perfect match for me which at times is tricky to
find in drugstore foundations. It blends so easily and love the glow it imparts.
If you have dry skin and are looking for a dewy foundation then this is a great one.
I would highly recommend this one.

Hello Everyone,
Today I am reviewing Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume Mascara for you guys.
Product Description
Magnify and multiply the look of your lashes. PhotoReady 3D Mascara from
Revlon creates bigger, bolder volume with a rounded lash-finding brush that
coats every lash. Starting with one product and expanding to a prestigious
cosmetic industry, Revlon has been providing customers with products that make
women look and feel glamorous. Revlon is the #1 longwear brand at the forefront
of trends and fashion across the globe.
Price: 7.19 USD
Packaging: It comes in a square shaped black and silver tube. I
like that it has a nice base and can stand on its own.
Performance: The formula of this is neither too wet nor too dry.
Kind of in the middle but it definitely gets drier over time. It has a big fat
brush with bristles along the length of the wand. The bristles are quite hard
on this wand. The wand is easier to work with on top
lashes but not that easy with the bottom lashes one has to be really careful
otherwise you will end up with mascara bits all over your under eye area.
As far as
volume is considered it doesn't live up to the product description. It
coats the lashes well in one sweep and gives you a nice defined looking lashes.
Definitely lengthens your lashes but doesn’t provide much volume. I did two
coats of these but it didn’t pack on the volume. My lashes looked long, defined
and evenly coated but with third coat it started to clump and I could feel the
heaviness of product on my lashes and I didn’t like the feeling. Apart from
that it holds the curl nicely and doesn't smudge or
leave you with panda eyes if your eyes get watery. You can easily get 7 plus
hours of wear time with this and it doesn't irritate my eyes. I have the waterproof version so it is
difficult to remove but nothing oil cleansers can’t handle.
The Good:
- Nice Formula
- Big fat brush
- Definitely lengthens the
lashes
- Holds the curl better
- Doesn't smudge
- Nice staying power
- Waterproof
- Doesn't irritate the
eyes
The Bad:
- Isn’t as volumizing as it
claims.
- It’s difficult to work with
on lower lashes, wand is too thick.
- Difficult to remove. Use an
oil based cleanser or coconut oil also works great in removing it.
Revlon PhotoReady 3D Mascara is a nice mascara but not
a wow mascara which you have to have in your life kind. I prefer using it more
on a daily bases. Just put on one or two coats of this to get nice defined longer
looking lashes nothing fancy. If you are looking for a lengthening mascara then
try it but if you are going for volumizing mascara there are better options
available.

Hello Everyone,
Today I am reviewing
KIKO Cosmetics Precision Eyebrow Pencil in shade 01 for you guys today.
Product Description
Eyebrow
pencil with micro-precision hard formula and separator comb. The formula
contains high-melt waxes ensuring adherence, precision and a long lasting line.
The fine point allows the shape of the eyebrows to be outlined or accentuated
with a fine, precise line, giving a natural finish. Sharpener included.
Price: 9 USD
Packaging:
It comes
in a silver wooden pencil with a lid that sits nicely and doesn’t keep flying
all over the place. Has a comb like brush at one end. Plus it comes
with a sharpener which is great because you don’t have to hunt for one.
Performance:
KIKO Precision Eyebrow Pencil in 01 is
a greyish black shade. In past I have always gone for a brown shade with
cool undertone for my brows but I never went for a grey/black one because I
thought they will look very harsh. But that is not the case with this one.
Though it is greyish black and very different from what I am used to, it
doesn’t look harsh at all. In fact I think this shade suits me more and is a
better match for my black brows. It is really well pigmented and colour
pay off is great too. You can be light handed and go for a well groomed looking
brows or you can go for fuller thicker looking brows. With this you can
achieve both the looks easily. It is very slim and tip of it is quite small and pointy so you can be very precise with your application and can do little
strokes to achieve perfect looking eyebrows. Pencil is slim but it is very
long so you get decent amount of product. The texture of this pencil is soft
and creamy yet stiff enough that it doesn’t crumbles. The staying power is good as well, it stays put all
day long on me and doesn’t fade plus my brows stay in place quite nicely after
using this. If my brows are done recently then I can get away with using just
this and skip the brow gel altogether.
The Good:
- Available in six shades
- Very Affordable
- Easy to use
- Pigmented
- Very slim
- Lasts long
- Nice brush
- Comes with a sharpener
The Bad:
The pencil
is really slim and you can be really precise with it, pigmented and stays put.
I love this product and is better shade match for me. I think I am sticking
with this one for a while now.
Hope you

Hello Everyone,
Today I am reviewing Yves Rocher Provencal Lavandin Roll-On Deodorant for you guys today.
Product Description:
All the pleasure of the aromatic
notes of Provençal Lavandin can be found in this Roll-On Deodorant. This aluminium salts-free formula contains a
botanical deodorant ingredient. Enriched with Organic Aloe Vera, it softly
protects the skin.
Result : a formula that respects the skin.
Price: 4.95 USD
Packaging:
Packaging
is a typical roll on deo packaging. Nothing very special. The lid of the roll
on is easy to twist both on and off and beneath is a transparent plastic ball
which is smooth and glides when touched.

Performance:
I love
Lavender fragrance and when I saw this one in the store this caught my
attention plus it says it has no aluminium salts, alcohol and paraben. The roll on is easy to apply as plastic ball
is quite smooth and just glides on the skin and covers the area evenly. The
liquid is very thin in consistency and comes out clear. As the consistency of this is thin it takes a
while to dry down and if you get dressed immediately after applying it, it gets
rubbed off. Once it dries down you can’t
even feel it except the beautiful scent that lingers on. The deodorant is
transparent and I never had a problem with it causing white marks on clothing.
I hate it when deodorant does that. As I told you earlier I love lavender scent
and this one is no exception to that. I love the smell of it and it feels so
clean and fresh. The deodorant itself is nice and keeps me fresh and dry for
long time but at this point I would like tell you that in general I don’t sweat
much plus I don’t have a problem of body odour so pretty much any deo works for
me. Plus I have not tried it on a hot summer day when I do sweat. But I think
this might not be the one to keep in your gym bag. I like using it everyday
after taking shower and I let it be if I am at home all day but if I am heading
out somewhere I layer it with my Oriflame Nature Secret Lavender and Fig body
spray or a perfume.

The Good:
- Love the fragrance
- Easy to use
- Travel friendly
- Doesn’t stain your clothes
- Has no aluminium and alcohol
- Affordable
The Bad:
- Availability
- Might not be great if you
sweat a lot.
It is a
nice product if you are looking for a deo that is aluminium, alcohol and
paraben free. It has a beautiful fragrance that lingers but is not too overpowering and does not interfere with your perfumes. Might not be the best
option for your gym bag.
Hope you like this post!!
